We Love Games..

..even more, we love to make them!

Making games requires passion

Coffee Stain is the result of a lot of crazy ideas and passion, and started with the making of Sanctum. We are independent and intends to stay that way. We are not the regular company, and we will not follow the regular path of one. Our goal is to have a lot of fun, while making and publishing great products!

If we have fun making our games, a lot of that positive energy and fun will be reflected in the results. Our team consists of a great mix of talented, ambitious and thinking people, and we’re growing slowly but surely. If you're interested in what we're doing right now, you should check out our twitterers or read up on the latest news.

About

We're in love with the process just as much as the result

We only create the games we would love to play ourselves.

OUR TEAMS

Coffee Stain is made up of three teams: Coffee Stain Studios, Coffee Stain North, and Coffee Stain Publishing.

Located in Skövde, Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 and is the original team behind I Love Strawberries and the Sanctum games. They’re also the creative minds behind the industry defying Goat Simulator games.

Stockholm based Coffee Stain North was founded in 2013 around the sleeper hit A Story About My Uncle. Since then, the team has taken Pilgor the goat on a journey from the zombie apocalypse into the deep reaches of space.

Coffee Stain Publishing, started in 2017, is currently working with Ghost Ship Games on Deep Rock Galactic, Easy Trigger Games on Huntdown and with CoastalByte on Puppet Fever.

We are still a small company, and we don’t have any ambitions growing too fast. We are growing, however, slow but steadily!

We like to work in smaller, more focused teams, so that's something you need to be comfortable with. The upsides are that you will have a lot of influence over the project being made, and that’s the way we like it.
