Coffee Stain is the result of a lot of crazy ideas and passion, and started with the making of Sanctum. We are independent and intend to stay that way. We are not the regular company, and we will not follow the regular path of one. Our goal is to have a lot of fun, while making and publishing great products!

If we have fun making our games, a lot of that positive energy and fun will be reflected in the results. OUR TEAMS

Coffee Stain is made up of seven teams: Coffee Stain Studios, Lavapotion, Coffee Stain North, Coffee Stain Malmö, Coffee Stain Publishing, Easy Trigger Games, and Box Dragon.

Located in Skövde, Coffee Stain Studios was founded in 2010 and is the original team behind I Love Strawberries, Goat Simulator and the Sanctum games, and currently works on the early access sensation, Satisfactory

Stockholm based Coffee Stain North was founded in 2013 around the sleeper hit A Story About My Uncle. Since then, the team has taken the lead on Goat Simulator, taking Pilgor the goat on a journey from the zombie apocalypse into the deep reaches of space.

Lavapotion is our team in Gothenburg working on Songs of Conquest. We fell in love with the team and project on day one and happily welcomed them to our family.

Coffee Stain Publishing, started in 2017, is currently working with Ghost Ship Games on Deep Rock Galactic, Easy Trigger Games on Huntdown, Vaulted Sky Games on Midnight Ghost Hunt and with Iron Gate Studio on Valheim.

Founded in 2021, Coffee Stain Malmö is the latest addition to our roster, focused on the development and publishing of mobile games. From porting our award-winning IPs to the small screen, to releasing original titles, our Malmö team is taking Coffee Stain on the road!

Founded in late 2016 and acquired by Coffee Stain in 2021, Easy Trigger Games are the developers behind the critically-acclaimed arcade shooter, Huntdown. The studio is located in the cold and bitter city of Trollhättan, Sweden.

Box Dragon also joined Coffee Stain in 2021, with a shared passion for crafting experiences we are united under a singular vision. They are currently working on an unannounced title, and looking for like-minded artisans to help build the foundation and add their own unique marks to our studio.
