Does this sound like you?

You want to work with a small but ambitious team where making an impact on the games we develop is not a perk, but a common goal.

As a concept artist you have a vivid imagination and like to solve visual problems, big and small. You love to sketch, getting lots of ideas on the page fast, and don’t get stuck on details. You have an open mind visually and enjoy trying out different styles and themes.

When working on 3D meshes, you don't mind a variety of tasks, jumping between hero assets to pebbles and butterflies. You can work independently and have all the skills to take something from concept to shippable implementation in engine.

We are a relatively small team for the project we have committed to, so any secondary development skills are always appreciated and taking responsibility, wherever you can, is encouraged.

These are things you’ll do on the job

  • Help in visualizing and realizing design ideas through iterative concept sketching
  • Setting the look and feel of individual meshes as well as our games worlds
  • Model and sculpt meshes, both organic and hard surface
  • Experience with various software packages including Photoshop, Maya, Substance Designer and Zbrush
  • Use Unreal engine to preview your work and make it ready for implementation

These are things your CV already contains

  • Professional experience as a 3D artist or equivalent
  • Skilled as a sketch/concept-artist
  • Being able to balance look and function of imaginary things
  • The ability to quickly iterate on concepts, bringing a good variation to the table
  • You’re good at working with feedback and like bringing others’ ideas to life
  • You have an eye for quality and know when attention to detail is needed
  • The ability to take responsibility, work independently, and communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
