Engine Programmer Role Description
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of game engines to make our games run nice on multiple platforms. Our programmers work tightly together, in an open and honest environment where everyone understands that creating bugs, resolving them and learning from that is all a part of being a programmer. You will be working in Unreal Engine 4 with C++, but if you're coming from other engines and languages and are eager to learn don't hesitate to apply!
What you will do:
- Look for optimizations and be part of implementing the solutions
- Work with different release platforms, making sure the game works and uses associated systems
Developing pipelines to build the game for the different platforms, deployment etc
- Have experience of releasing a game
- A solid understanding of game optimization
- Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, or applicable similar engine
Good knowledge of C++
Working with us means working in a relaxed and friendly environment, where we value diversity and inclusivity and let everyone be heard. We work actively with individual career development, and help employees strive towards more responsibility and autonomy. We encourage you to contribute creatively to parts of the game outside your discipline - be it to participate in brainstorming meetings or give feedback on existing features. We also have Creative Fridays twice a month, where you get an opportunity to research new knowledge or work on experimental content. Playing games together at work is another thing we do to have fun and get inspired.
Additional benefits include an insurance program, occupational pension, great parental benefits, wellness grant and wellness hour. And, of course, you will be part of a wonderful team of colleagues working on an exciting high-profile project.
